The book focuses mainly on the analysis on the walls that protected the community from about 500 BC until, in the eighth century AD, became the old castellum fractum. Although this is the main theme, also takes the opportunity to present the study on the urban development of the northwestern sector of the field-the so-called zone 2 -, which allows to observe the changes of the urban structure since the mid-sixth century BC to the time today.\nThis study focuses especially on the Iberian period (ancient, middle and late) but considers the future development through an employment point of the second half of the first century BC and construction in the mid-fourth century of the imperial fortress that was maintained and amended by the Visigoths around 500, until, after the conquest by the Arabs, was abandoned.\nA long history that makes Sant Julia de Ramis, at least its core, its mountains, one of the few municipalities that we know, with remarkable detail, its continuing evolution. \n\n1
