Dr. Gouri Manik Manas may be hailed as an important breakthrough in this direction particularly from Social Work perspective that are quite rare to come by Dr. Manas is the personification of best in social works as a discipline and profession. Having obtained master degree and M.Phil degree in social work, she worked for her doctoral thesis on an ambitious project and the outcome was hailed as significant contribution to empirical literature on gender studies from social work perspective.
