LA INVASIÓN DEL HELECHO ACUÁTICO AZOLLA FILICULOIDES EN LA MARISMA DEL PARQUE NACIONAL DOÑANA EN 2005-2008. ISBN: 978-84-606-6231-0 Durante buena parte de la década pasada, el helecho tropical Azolla filiculoides ha invadido los humedales del Parque Nacional de Doñana. Este estudio plurianual refiere los resultados habidos durante su estudio, centrándose en las condiciones ambientales y antrópicas que hicieron posible su proliferación masiva por gran parte del humedal y realizando sugerencias para la gestión futura de sus poblaciones. THE INVASION OF THE WATER FERN AZOLLA FILICULOIDES IN THE MARSH OF DOÑANA NATIONAL PARK IN 2005-2008. ISBN: 978-84-606-6231-0 The aquatic tropical fern Azolla filiculoides invaded Doñana National Park wetlands (Southwestern Spain) during the last decade. This multiyear study reports the results of a research project, aimed at describing man-made and environmental conditions enhancing its mass development throughout most areas of the wetland. We also make some suggestions to tackle with their populations in the near future.
