Argumento de El árbol Miedoso
One day Juan bought three trees (a peach tree, an apple tree, and a pear tree) to plant in his garden. He hoped they would grow quickly and bear fruit. Under Juanâs care, the peach and apple trees soon began to grow, but the pear tree refused to rise up off the ground. The pear tree was afraid of so many things, but most of all of growing. Finally, Juan decided that it would be best to cut it down. The original and simple text of this play is ideal for the beginning reader or actor, as it can be easily read or represented. The colorful illustrations offer ideas for set and costume design.1
