Emily Brontë was a British writer. His most important work is the novel Wuthering Heights, published in 1847 and considered a classic of English literature. Wuthering Heights is the only novel by Emily Brontë. It was first published in 1847 under the pseudonym Ellis Bell. His sister Charlotte edited a posthumous second edition.
