Argumento de Una Festa D"elefants
Like every year at Carnival time, Enric the elephant organises a fancy dress party in his house. All his elephant friends work hard to make the best dress and then, one by one, they parade up to his house in their original animal costumes: rhinoceroses, lions, zebras, crocodiles, giraffes, tinned sardines, pigs and even porcupines? Everything goes really well until Enric appears dressed as a mouse and, as you might expect, his friends flee in terrified panic.
The text combines the prose of its introduction with the free rhyming verse of the presentation of the elephants in fancy dress; repetitions and rhymes that give more comedy and rhythm to an already funny tale. It is a very simple story, appropriate for the youngest boys and girls, and the ingenious illustrations with their bright colours will be the delight of many: it isn?t so easy to imagine an elephant dressed up as another animal!1
