Argumento de Ronda de Suspiros.
Back in those days, boats sailed the seas, leaving the steam from their chimneys behind, and the poorest villagers still lit their humble homes with oil lamps...
Back in those days, superstitions, traditions, and prejudice reigned among the people, and life for an illegitimate child was not easy. People whispered and gossiped in towns and villages. All of Galicia was filled with magic and mystery... And also love... The kind of love that can bend the strongest of wills, tear down walls, or overcome any difficulty through perseverance.
And because of this love, the inhabitants of Puebla del Viento felt bewildered and disoriented. They spent their days and nights sighing, lamenting their bad luck in love. For comfort, theyd turn to Saint Benitiño. From his position in the village church, he could usually provide guidance to desperate lovers. But would the saints help be enough this time?1
