Argumento de High Resolution Anoscopy Atlas
Encuadernación: Rústica
The technique known as high-resolution anoscopy (HRA) was developed in England in the late 1980s for the examination of the anus. After application of acetic acid, a colposcope is used by physicians to explore the anal mucosa. In contrast to colposcopy, physicians wanting to learn the HRA technique come up against serious diffi culties due to a notable lack of resources. The goal in publishing this atlas is to provide practitioners with a source that off ers a rapid overview of the technique, along with accessible, up-to-date information. This atlas contains abundant illustrations providing key information in a readily understandable format. It is structured around three major sections: 1) clear and concise text; 2) real full-colour images; and 3) videos, since, in our opinion, the incorporation of visual information assists speedy learning, particularly in the case of a medical procedure.0
