Argumento de Fotografía como Arquitectura: Click 1
From the first decades of the twentieth century, Photography has been Architectures essential ally; it has helped it in its development, teaching and learning. During the last years, the dynamic between both disciplines has grown vastly due to the emergence of new practices that pose challenges, which affect the task of the Architect and the Photographer. This book aims to contribute to a further comprehension of the ways that each discipline has of seeing and their repercussion. The volume gathers contribu tions from Spain, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, and Venezuela, which were carried out due to the International Seminar held in Barcelona, on the 9th-10th of April, 2015. In Latin America, as in the rest of the world, Photographers played a double role: on the one hand, they registered the architectural heritage and on the other, decisively contributed to build the visual universe of reference for architects. The documents compiled in Barcelona open up perspectives on the unexplored scenario of the visual register of Modern Architecture in Latin America.0
