This interesting book provides activities which are related to events with specific dates (hence the title) with the aim of students familiarising themselves with Spanish culture.
Although it concentrates on using written texts (comprehension and written expression) this is not done at the expense of the other core skills with special emphasis placed on vocabulary building.
