On a stormy night on the Oregon Coast failed writer Bert Sump craves a drink at his favorite casino. Instead he walks into the middle of a robbery. When the storm knocks out the power the police are occupied elsewhere and the crooks plan to kill all witnesses. With the odds falling fast, Bert must find a way to survive or today will be his last.
