Everyone has heard of neocons. The newspapers talk about them continuously. However the media popularity does not let neocons be seen as a phenomenon of political thinking. From this point of view it can not be denied that the neocons constitute a phenomenon in the sense of being a reality in a truly surprising way.\n\nThe aim of this book is to help us discover the philosophical background of neocons. The expression "philosophical background" has to be understood here in a double meaning. In the first sense, it refers to those philosophers who somehow are present or echo in the ideological demonstrations of the neocons - use to be made of it or to mark distance. In the second sense, the contributions of Joan Vergés Gifra, Miguel Herrero y Rodríguez de Miñón, Ramon Alcoberro, Josep Olesti Vila, Josep M. Ruiz Simon, Josep M. Esquirol, Josep-Maria Terricabras, José Manuel Bermnudo and Antonio Negri approach the philosophical background of the neocons intending to explain the profound reasons for the existence of this ideology in the political world of today. \n0
